Dry season foraging blues

Went for a stroll with Athena at Tower Rd. Mt Crawford today to Rocky Paddock...nothing. Wasn't foraging, just having a morning out, hoping for some good pics for the website.
Intrigued, We decided to go to Forties where my favourite Slippery patch is. Nada. Only a small handful of Rhizopogons, which usually litter the ground along the roadside.
Thought I'd head to Chalks where Slipperies can usually be found all day long by the entrance under the Pines just to check it out. Nada again. Didn't get to the Cemetery for my favourite Amanita patch.
No sign of old mushrooms either. Usually you can find Slipperies overturned by critters or decaying Saffrons. Not even signs of other mushroom hunters either.
I'm wondering if anyone is finding anything in the North? I'm seeing nice pics from the South of Adelaide. I'm not foraging this year or taking any field trips out but am still interested in getting pics.

Some of you may have seen that I've been writing a series of posts about herbs and making herbal remedies at home. I want to share what I know of this topic so that, as the world gets crazier, folks will have other avenues of medical care, namely those of themselves and their community. If you look back over this blog, you can see heaps of info on the topic, plus loads and loads of posts on herbs and using Australian bushfoods from a white perspective. If you haven't been around on in the @hivegarden and @naturalmedicine communities for long, you may be interested in looking back. There's w-a-a-a-a-y too much there for me to repost and the Hive system doesn't let you vote on old posts so, if you're happy with what you find, I believe that there is now a tip option...
