Soulkeep: My Daily Game Activity, My Progress and My Game Activity Financial Evaluation

It has been quite some time since my last post about Soulkeep which I published on February 6, 2025.

Although I have not published recent posts about Soulkeep during this time interval I have played some tournaments.
Today I return to share my gaming activity on this Tower Defense game playable directly from the Splinterlands site.

I enjoy playing on Soulkeep in the tournament mode but I can't always play every day even though I want to.
By the way, every day I get a free ticket to play in the daily tournament and being able to play at least once a day would be a good step for me but I often don't have the free time to do that because there are many games I play and my daily free time is limited.

I also like the policy adopted by Soulkeep to ensure fair play because on Soulkeep bots and multiaccounts are not allowed.

On Soulkeep the tournament mode is divided into 10 leagues that have increasing entry requirements.

I play in league 2 but could easily advance to league 3 because:

  • it is easy to complete the 5 gateway levels of Battle mode in league 2
  • I achieved the requirements in Fiend Souls eliminated to advance to league 3.

However, I chose to stay in league 2 because if I advance to league 3 I have to stake another 9K SPS to soddify the 10K SPS staked entry requirement for league 3.

I like playing on Soulkeep but I like playing on Splinterlands even more and I don't want to take 9K SPS staked out of Splinterlands because it would produce a decrease in my SPS and Glint boost on Splinterlands where I play with two accounts in the Modern Format and where my average daily gain in SPS for my gaming activity is higher than the average daily gain I get from playing on Soulkeep.

Today to play in the tournaments mode I used my daily Free ticket.

When there were 12 hours and 33 minutes to the end of the daily tournament, the score to beat was 13118 points achieved by player BIGJAMMIN in three attempts.

If you have never played on Soulkeep you should know that the tournaments are divided into two parts:

  • 1 base level
  • 1 bonus level.

Today my base level consisted of 8 Waves and had the Battle Rules:

  • Magic Dispeller: Magical Resistance for Fiends Goes Up Each New Wave: 7% per wave
  • Spawnier: Quicker Spawn Time Between Each Burst of Fiends, Getting Faster Each New Wave: 18% per wave

To play the basic level, I chose the towers and speels that you can see in the next image.

In WAVE 1/8:

  • I positioned Celene in front of my gate entrance in the upper left corner.
  • I used the CHEAPO spell to decrease the cost of the Quad Killer tower I placed so that I could reach the paths going to both of my two gates.
  • I placed 1 Knife Tosser in a position further back than the other two towers.

I got through the first wave easily because no enemies arrived at my gate.

In WAVE 2/8:

  • I increased the attack range of the Quad Killer tower by spending 50 mana.

  • I placed another Knife Tosser tower near the enemies' right entrance.

In WAVE 3/8 I added three more towers: 1 Voodoo Sapper and 1 Knife Tosser.
I also used the Heartgiver spell to increase my life points: 10 -> 15

In WAVE 4/8:

  • I moved Celene to a position central to my two gates.
  • I added two towers: 1 Charnel Pit and 1 Voodoo Sapper.

In WAVE 5/8:

  • I used the Buildmaster spell to reduce the cost of upgrades to two of my towers.
  • I upgraded the damage statistic of the Quad Killer tower.
  • I increased the attack range of the leftmost Knife Tosser tower.

My choices in wave 5/8 were not good and I started wave 6/8 with only two life points.

In WAVE 6/8 I changed strategy trying to recover the strategic mistakes made in the previous wave:

  • I moved Celene to defend the gate in which I suffered the most attacks
  • I used the spell Kansas Twist to slow down enemies
  • I added a Shock Therapy tower to protect the gate in the upper right corner.
  • I used the spell Mana Mania

I passed wave 6/8 but was left with only one life point.

In WAVE 7/8:

  • I used the spell Kansas Twist to slow down enemies.
  • I increased the attack by 2 Knife Tosser
  • I increased the attack range by 1 Knife Tosser
  • I used the spell Mana Mania

Unfortunately, my game adventure today ended in wave 7/8 with a final score = 3696 points.

With such a low score I will hardly get into the top 50 of the daily ranking that allows to receive a prize but I had fun playing even if I did not pass the base level of the tournament mode.

We learn by making mistakes and the mistakes I made in wave 5/8 did not allow me to access the bonus level.

I will try to play again tomorrow and try to improve my score.
I hope my post will be helpful in understanding the dynamics of playing Soulkeep and the mistakes not to make :)

I will end this post by showing the financial results of my gaming activity that I have achieved so far by playing on Soulkeep.

As a result of my gaming activity, I have earned a total of 1509.74 SPS but I have also spent 476 DEC in tickets during the time interval when the free daily ticket was removed.

Considering the Rewards-Costs difference I earned 39.94 SWAP.HIVE = $10.14

I did not play consistently every day and because of that my game rewards could have been much higher but when a game entertains me the financial side takes a back seat for me.

Soulkeep: La mia attività di gioco giornaliera + l'analisi finanziaria della mia attività di gioco.

E' passato un bel pò di tempo dal mio ultimo post su Soulkeep che ho pubblicato il 6 febbraio 2025.
Anche se non ho pubblicato post recenti su Soulkeep in questo intervallo di tempo ho giocato alcuni tornei.
Oggi ritorno a condividere la mia attività di gioco su questo Tower Defense game giocabile direttamente dal sito di Splinterlands.

Mi piace giocare su Soulkeep nella modalità torneo ma non riesco a giocare tutti i giorni anche se vorrei.
Tra l'altro ogni giorno ricevo un ticket gratuito per giocare nel torneo giornaliero e riuscire a giocare almeno una volta al giorno sarebbe un bel passo avanti per me ma spesso non ho il tempo libero per farlo perchè sono molti i giochi a cui gioco e il mio tempo libero giornaliero è limitato.

Mi piace anche la politica adottata da Soulkeep per garantire il fair play perchè su Soulkeep i bots e i multiaccounts non sono permessi.

Su Soulkeep la modalità torneo è divisa in 10 leghe che hanno requisiti di ingresso crescenti.

Io gioco nella lega 2 ma potrei facilmente avanzare nella lega 3 perchè:

  • è facile completare i 5 gateway levels della modalità Battle della lega 2
  • ho raggiunto i requisiti in Fiend Souls eliminati per avanzare nella lega 3.

Ho scelto però di fermarmi nella lega 2 perchè se avanzo nella lega 3 devo mettere in stake altri 9K SPS per soddifare il requisito di ingresso di 10K SPS staked per la lega 3.

Mi piace giocare su Soulkeep ma mi piace ancora di più giocare su Splinterlands e non voglio togliere 9K SPS staked da Splinterlands perchè produrrebbe una diminuzione del mio SPS e Glint boost su Splinterlands dove gioco con due accounts nel Modern Format e dove il mio guadagno medio giornaliero in SPS per la mia attività di gioco è superiore al guadagno medio giornaliero che ottengo giocando su Soulkeep.

Oggi per giocare nella modalità tournaments ho utilizzato il mio Free ticket giornaliero.

Quando mancavano 12 ore e 33 minuti alla fine del torneo giornaliero il punteggio da battere era di 13118 punti realizzato dal giocatore BIGJAMMIN in tre tentataivi.

Se non hai mai giocato su Soulkeep devi sapere che i tornei sono divisi in due parti:

  • 1 livello base
  • 1 livello bonus.

Oggi il mio livello base era costituito da 8 Waves e aveva le Battle Rules:

Per giocare il livello base ho scelto le torri e gli speels che puoi vedere nella prossima immagine.

Nel WAVE 1/8:

  • ho posizionato Celene davanti all'ingresso del mio gate in alto a sinistra
  • ho utilizzato lo spell CHEAPO per diminuire il costo della torre Quad Killer che ho posizionato in modo da poter raggiungere i percorsi che vanno ad entrambi i miei due gates.
  • ho posizionato 1 Knife Tosser in una posizione più arretrata rispetto alle altre due torri.

Ho superato il primo wave facilmente perchè nessun nemico è arrivato al mio gate.

Nel WAVE 2/8:

  • ho aumentato il range di attacco della torre Quad Killer spendendo 50 mana.

  • ho posizionato un'altra torre Knife Tosser vicino all'ingresso destro dei nemici.

Nel WAVE 3/8 ho aggiunto altre tre torri: 1 Voodoo Sapper e 1 Knife Tosser.
Ho anche utilizzato lo spell Heartgiver per aumentare i miei punti vita: 10 -> 15

Nel WAVE 4/8:

  • ho spostato Celene in una posizione centrale rispetto ai miei due gates.
  • ho aggiunto due torri: 1 Charnel Pit e 1 Voodoo Sapper.

Nel WAVE 5/8:

  • ho utilizzato lo spell Buildmaster per ridurre il costo degli upgrade di due mie torri.
  • ho fatto l'upgrade della statistica damage della torre Quad Killer
  • ho aumentato il range di attacco della torre Knife Tosser più a sinistra.

Le mie scelte nel wave 5/8 non sono state buone e ho iniziato il wave 6/8 con soli due punti vita.

Nel WAVE 6/8 ho cambiato strategia cercando di recuperare gli errori strategici commessi nel wave precedente:

  • ho spostato Celene a difesa del gate nel quale ho subito più attacchi
  • ho utilizzato lo spell Kansas Twist per rallentare i nemici
  • ho aggiunto una torre Shock Therapy a protezione del gate in alto a destra.
  • ho utilizzato lo spell Mana Mania

Ho superato il wave 6/8 ma sono rimasto con un solo punto vita.

Nel WAVE 7/8:

  • ho utilizzato lo spell Kansas Twist per rallentare i nemici
  • ho aumentato l'attacco di 2 Knife Tosser
  • ho aumentato il range di attacco di 1 Knife Tosser
  • ho utilizzato lo spell Mana Mania

Purtroppo la mia avventura di gioco odierna è terminata nel wave 7/8 con un punteggio finale = 3696 punti.

Con un punteggio così basso difficilmente entrerò nella top 50 della classifica giornaliera che permette di ricevere un premio ma mi sono divertito a giocare anche se non ho superato il primo livello della modalità torneo.

Sbagliando si impara e gli errori che ho commesso nel wave 5/8 non mi hanno permesso di accedere al livello bonus.

Domani proverò a giocare di nuovo e cercherò di migliorare il mio punteggio e spero che il mio post possa essere utile per capire le dinamiche di gioco di Soulkeep e gli errori da non fare :)

Concludo questo post mostrando i risultati finanziari che ho ottenuto fino ad oggi giocando su Soulkeep.

Grazie alla mia attività di gioco ho guadagnato in totale 1509.74 SPS ma ho anche speso 476 DEC in tikcket nell'intervallo di tempo in cui è stato tolto il ticket giornaliero gratuito.

Considerando la differenza Rewards-Costs ho guadagnato 39.94 SWAP.HIVE = 10.14$

Non ho giocato con costanza tutti i giorni e per questo motivo le mie ricompense di gioco potevano essere molto maggiori ma quando un gioco mi diverte il lato finanziario passa in secondo piano per me.

I hope they continue to develop this game, I enjoy it quite a bit!

I have 115k SPS Delegated to SK and that does take a chunk out of my Rewards from Ranked and Survival 😭

The higher league payout is worth it though, imo 😊

Dato il basso costo di noleggio, hai valutato se noleggiare 9000 SPS ti costerebbe più o meno delle ricompense che riceveresti da Soulkeep? Vero è che hai già mille cose da fare ed aggiungere anche il noleggio degli SPS magari è una rottura preferisci evitare, però così, tanto per curiosità!

E' sicuramente un opzione percorribile ma avendo scelto di giocare a tanti giochi invece di primeggiare o almeno provare a competere con i primi in uno soltanto sarebbe sicuramente un uteriore cosa da fare che consumerebbe tempo e tra l'altro se passo nella lega 3 non posso retrocedere. Quando avrò più SPS o se smetterò di giocare con due accounts nel Modern passarò immediatamente alla lega 3 ;)

I'd call that a solid run despite the Wave 5/8 mishap Soulkeep’s mechanics after checking your review and gaming seem a little tricky but fun. A game that actually rewards strategy is on point 👌. I hope you crush it next time, maybe league 3 soon

Yes this game is fun and also easy to play, it is a bit more complicated to reach the top positions of the daily leaderboard because the choice of cards and the correct strategy are very important

Wait, SPS staked in Splinterlands doesn't count for soulkeep? THat sounds kind of weird since its all under the same umbrella.

Yes staking is separate and that is why I stayed in league 2 which requires only 1K SPS staked.

I think this is still good profit if you ask me, and congratulations. Perhaps maybe if you had played more, the rewards might be more.
