How Austria deals with sharply rising gasoline prices: Gas stations are only allowed to raise prices 3 times per week (before that prices could rise daily), 5 cent less taxes, and 5 cent forced margin reduction. Diesel cost about 1.60 per Liter in Austria before the war in Iran and Lebanon started, so its a significant jump.
