You must spend hours looking for this pirate themed silver, every piece is as beautiful as the next. One stands out a little, the toned face in the top photo, that's a unique piece. Thanks for sharing your loot! xox

After my first year of setting aside a few silver maple leaf coins per month as savings, It got boringly routine. When I was little I used to play pirate fun with the neighbor's kids for chocolate coins. Great memories, hence my theme. I happened to spot this coin on a semi-annual coin shop expedition, it was silver from the Krause designation of 665a. It has a little milky issue but that gave me a discount off the price tag.
A fine addition to the fleet.

Yeah maple leaves do get boring, why I have a good deal of cheaply found collectible types too even if some cost a bit more. I know milk spots should matter but most older tokens have something. Like you said, good time for a discount!
Good you are keeping a child-like nature to play around with collecting. It's what it's all about. Chocolate coins is still a valuable pirate commodity...and keyword...coin 😆 As a kid I thought they were really wrapped in gold.
