Great pics and flight. This would be a great place to take a metal detector and maybe find some spearheads or even sword! Love the way the drone got closer shots of the shoulders and upper parts of the statue.
Glad it survived the tree grabbing. Those circling flights are always tricky for me.

I learned in the comment from @krakonos that many people have already tried it with the detector, but strangely enough, they did not find anything at the site that would indicate a medieval battle. It is really strange.
I found it interesting to "circle" the statue at shoulder height. It is a view that is not normally seen from the ground. It was my first time circling so close to the object. A slight inattention made it more dramatic. Lesson learned for next time :-)
