Omg, I LOVED reading this. You seriously just took me back into the whirlwind that is The Spanish Love Deception and now I kinda want to reread it just for the emotional rollercoaster all over again. I felt the same way when I finished it, like I needed to take a moment to breathe and process all the slow-burn tension the fake kissing dating chaos, and all those almost moments that had me internally screaming "JUST KISS ALREADY"
I totally get what you mean by Escapismo perfecto, this book was like a mini vacation with a side of butterflies and drama. Catalina is so relatable, like who hadn't want to prove to the world (and an ex) that we're thriving? i felt her panic, her pride and her quiet hope all in one
You decribed the whole vibe of the book perfectly. This is exactly why i like hearing people talk about stories they connect with, it just makes you want to into the book all over again and feell all those emotions again
And No, I've never hired someone to pretend to be my partner (yet 🥲) but you've got me wondering what kinda chaos would come from that. Probably not as cute as Catalina's.... or maybe?
The way you broke it all down......... exactly how I felt but 10x more beautifully said. You didn’t just reply, you wrote a whole love letter to the book and I’m obsessed.
The fake dating chaos really was a mini vacation with butterflies. Thanks for dropping by Kristy 🥰
