The 1935 Voyager made quite a splash being practically the first One Dollar silver coin issued for circulation in a time that the 50 cent Dominion of Canada was sufficient for public business but also anticipating a growing need for currency as Canada matures as a developing economy beyond just a collection of colonies into it's own.

As a Collector of Canadian coins, the 1935 is a must have coin that marks Canada's path to independence and as a nation.

More personally, this coin symbolizes my own milestone from a child playing with coins into a serious collector in charge of a family heirloom that will be passed on to future generations.

"Thanks Dad, I will take care of it and see that you and grandpa are remembered."
