And honestly, waiting seems simple but its hard.
What if the your partner is never ready to move forward.
I have been in a similar situation where I got hurt and I just wished I walked away instead of waiting for her to heal or be ready.

Exactly that point! If our partner is never ready to heal, then is time for our to move forward. We only should wait for the ones that heal (not that is meant to heal "fast", but for the ones that want to heal, and desire to heal giving value to the "wait" on the other side. The ones that value the price of waiting, not the ones that only value their convictions.
