A beautiful green-eyed grasshopper

Yes, it's very beautiful indeed, but (to be exact) ... not a grasshopper but a cricket:
As I also mentioned in the pinned post on top of the community the order Orthoptera is divided in the suborders Caelifera with short antennae and Ensifera (of which you show an exemplar in your post) with long antennae.

Oh no, I'm sorry ๐Ÿ˜”. I searched the web using my photos with Google lens and it took me to this species, one of the sources calls them "long-horned grasshoppers" ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ and we also use to call them that way here, although their faces aren't the same as those of common grasshoppers ๐Ÿ˜• but their bodies do look more like these than crickets. I apology for my confusion, the inscects world is so inmense and complicate ๐Ÿฅด. I will be more attentive and I'll investigate further in my next posts. Thank you very much for the correction and the information. Have a nice day.

Please, nobody needs to apologize for anything, don't worry! My comment was just a hint.

And yes, it might sound strange, but to be exact the "long-horned grasshoppers" are no grasshoppers, as well. :)
That's why if one wants to be accurate, the scientific names are much more precise than the 'common names' which are often misleading.

Well, at least the scientific name I put in the post is correct ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿคญ
And yes, you're absolutely right, that's why I always put the scientific names in my posts, although this time I was a little confused with the common name of this little friend ๐Ÿฅด
Thanks again @jaki01, I appreciate your comment ๐Ÿค—
