Yes, that is true indeed about the sand becoming more yellow as you start moving up along the east coast! We were in Cape Town last December and we were amazed by the white sand you guys have on your beaches!
Yes, we get the sunrises while you get the sunsets. That is why I try to get some sun rises instead of sunsets here by us. I do get some shots during sunsets, but especially when at a beach, I then rather try to focus on the late afternoon light rather that the sunset itself.
Wow! Those people working in the CBD are lucky!
These shots in my posts were taken on the Beach in Umhlanga, just north of Durban. It is the Whalebone Pier that you see in my photos. It's a popular attraction for the tourists.
Thanks for stopping by and for your feedback, @clairemobey! I do appreciate it!
It's not only working in the CBD, we, in Table View, get a beautiful view into the west across the Atlantic Sea abut also to the East across the peninsula to the Indian Ocean, so depending on what time of day it is, we get to enjoy both!
Oh wow!! That sounds awesome!
And white sand is overrated!! Lol!
That how we feel about people talking about our "Golden Beaches"...😅! I guess the people who live with it and see it every day, gets used to it and we quickly becomes the "normal", while for other people it remains spectacular or special. For us, it's the golden beaches... For you, it's the white sand...haha.
But whatever, let's just enjoy it👍!
hehehe! Yes indeed!
