I didn't know there was a change or controversy, but I also think following a trend when your brand and product have done famously with the original logo and style of restaurant is a lot of wasted money too. I personally don't care for the new, stripped down, blocky version of things. I like differences in personality and style. Who really wants to be like everyone else where you can't tell one from the other? No thank you! Boring!
I didn't know about the original use of the the word woke or that it had a long past. By the time I was aware of it, it did have a negative connotation, one that can't be defined in just one sentence by me, so I do have a negative view of people I consider woke in the way I know of it, but I don't spend my life minutes getting tied up in it.
Yeah, I think the logo redesign was a bad idea. And I think redesigning all these iconic building designs is also a bad idea. But I don't think they much care what I think.
