Gym gear (Digital Window) shopping

“Hey!! What you doing?” inuke asked me. “I am busy. Go away.” I replied. Lying on my bed, scrolling through the Amazon list. “Hmm, Shoppingaaa..!!” “Ya, No go away. I know you will divert the topic to some nonsense and leave me in even worse condition than I already am.” I tried shooing away inuke. “Gym gear for men in their late thirties. Wow!! That's…” inuke stopped after meeting my stare. “Yup, I am going to continue once the doc okays me.” I replied. “You know, you are probably the first person ever to whom the doc has recommended skipping the gym for a few days. Otherwise, they are always motivating the mote’s to go to the gym.” inuke said, hiding the laugh. (Mote is fatty in Hindi) “Even I am surprised. But I am thankful to her for prescribing me the rest, along with the note. Otherwise, it would have been a very impossible task to make Priya understand why I am lying here and not on a treadmill.” “Shhhhshhhh… If she hears you, you gonna end up dead on the sidewalk of the gym. Learn to take the small winnings and keep quiet.” Inuke warned me of the scary person I married. “Roger that.” I replied.

A few minutes passed. I was still scrolling. “Anyway, why are you hunting for the gym gear? I got nice shoes, good clothes, and a new towel. What else do you need? It's not like the gym has mandated all these accessories,” inuke asked. “Well, it's good to have items. Not the must-have items.” I replied while I scrolled past the wrist bands and knee supports section. “It looks like a waste of money to me,” inuke said. “It actually, is. I have scrolled through the entire catalogue of the products and I dont think any of this is worth buying. I me it's nice to have, but I dont see them enhancing your workout output that much. Plus, they are a bit pricy.” I concurred with inuke a rarest of rare event. “Woah!! That's twice your 3-month membership charges. For a bag, water bottle, knee support and 2 towels??? A bank robber would struggle with such pricing, Damn..” Inuke was shocked. “It's decathlon..” I dont know why I tried justifying the prices. “Yeah, still it's a bag only. And you gonna put your gym shoes innt.” inuke said. “Chill, Bro, I am not buying anything. I am smarter than I was before. I am going to gym with the old bag with the same set of shoes and WaterBottle that I already use. Not going to buy anything new unless it's sponsored by someone.” I winked at inuke.

We heard Priya's footsteps and anklets sound from the kitchen. “See you in the afterlife.” Inuke bid his adieu.

“You have not placed the order for the LPG naa?” Priya came out of the kitchen fuming. “Ummmmhh… Actually….” I was trying to find the word to form a sentence to tell her that the Gas gonna be delivered in 48Hrs. “Kya.. ummmm.. Ahhh.. ordered or not?” “It will arrive, darling.” I tried calming her down. “Gas is over, Jao aur lekar aao. Dont expect me to cook on the electric.” She was red angry. Priya went back to the kitchen, mumbling something about marriage or something.. “Abhi ke liye Swiggy mein order kar dun?” I asked [Shall I order the food from Swiggy.] A carrot hit my forehead and landed on the bed, signalling NO.

Hey Folks,

So a funny thing happened, I got sick again, and this time the reason is unknown. Suffering from headaches that are just there. Good news is meds are working, Bad news is whats wrong I dont know. I am continuing my medication, and my gym adventure is on hold for now. Its been 4 days since I have not stepped.

As always, I am very thankful to my friends for motivating me to write. @mysteriousroad @ryivhnn you guys are awesome. I am also thankful to the Indiaunited and BeAwesome community for their love and support.
