My favorite fish; Boiled beef soup
Hello there my lovely hivers!!!
Ever since,I really love to cook but sometimes I get too shy to cook some dishes when there's a people watching me. This is one dish that I love recently, there are a lot of vegetables and now that I'm eating less this is good for me. I didn't like vegetables but now that I have to eat more veggies it's one of my favorites.
My grandma cooks some dishes that had some vegetables on them but I didn't take a picture of the step by step process and the final dish since I have to go home. We rarely cook some dishes that have a lot of vegetables but now they just cook out of nowhere. I love dishes that have vegetables on them.
This is our second time cooking this kind of dish and when I mention to my mother that I like the dish that she cooks last time. Without thinking twice she bought the ingredients and prepared them to cook. So when I saw her cooking the dish that I love, I took a step by step on how to make my favorite dish.
First prepare all the ingredients so that it's easier to cook. I then slice all the veggies and the pork to make it chewable. It's already 12 noon right now while slicing these ingredients, I feel so hungry and keep thinking of the final dish.
The ingredients needed are
Meat (cut it into smaller pieces)
Cabbage
Carrots
Pumpkin
And some aromatics(onion, garlic)
You need to boil the meat so it is not chewy as you eat. It takes about less than 10 minutes if you put the fire into high. I just sliced a little meat since I like more of the veggies it is just for the taste.
Then put the carrots on to the pot and wait until it gets soft.
After that, put the pumpkin in until it gets softened and put the aromatics and seasonings.
The last part is this cabbage since it will just soften for a few minutes and this is always the last. Then you will stir it and wait until it's completely cooked.
Charran, The final dish looks tasty right? The hot broth plus these veggies is so yummy. My mom just put an egg since I just loved boiled egg, I even bought a tray.
This was what my plate looks like, and while making this blog it makes me crave this kind of dish.
Looking to the photos made me crave a soup even if it is so hot today. I love the recipe and I guess it is tinolang baboy or what. Regardless, your blog is detailed and I adore you sharing unique way of cooking the meat.
Thanks for taking time reading my blog hehehe. Personally, I really don't know what's the name of that dish. I just search it on the google and it just looked as it. The tinolang baboy is just different with this dish .
Hehe this got me smiling, isn't it funny that sometimes autocorrect can give us funny alternatives to what we meant to say. I was thinking, since when has the Philippines got beef fish!
This dish looks masarap and over here we would call it a beef casserole. Beed and carrots are made for each other I think!
I thought you cooked it at first, but it's your mum that always does the cooking?
Yess since we had a different languages hhahaha. Beef casserole was a nice name for that dish it is fancy to hear. And yea my mom always cooks us food and sometimes I help her to cut the ingredients or I was the one who will put the vegetables on the pan and she was the one who will put the seasonings.
Aha so you are mum's wee helper in the kitchen. Cooking is fun, also means you get to eat what you want to lol.
Casseroles are the sort of dish, we can have beef, chicken, sausage or even pork casseroles.
