I see how enthusiast Hiveans are to be here, especially developers. So I think Hive is here to stay and always evolve and it's just a matter of time before it spreads its wings and become more popular. Combined with the fact that web2 social media are becoming every day more annoying, between tons of ads and bots, people just showing off and hating on each other...

As I keep saying, the biggest thing that Hive is still missing is a way to post short vertical videos. People are creating those to post on Instagram and Tiktok. They already are doing that. We just have to provide them a new place to do so. The difference of warmth they'll get from the audience will do the rest. That's my opinion

We have a core of users who will never leave, but I think a fair few new ones don't stick around too long. We need to keep them engaged and it's not just about rewards.

InLeo shorts does vertical video. I don't really like that format, but I know it's big. I've not been looking at InLeo recently, but I think they are doing a lot of development.
