RE: Think Big🧠: Ben Carson's Journey to Excellence

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

While I don't really agree with a lot of Carson's world-views and opinions, there is no denying that he really does have his stuff together and is wildly successful. I'm not big on self-help books either because I am happy with my life :)

I just wanted you to get a real comment from a real human on your post. It is nicely written and easy to digest... well done.

šŸ˜‚ I love how straightforward you are
I also love that you don't really fancy self-help books. I was always like that too.

I'm quite young (just 24 years old), I decided to read self-help books ones a while to avoid mistakes. I have made some pretty costly mistakes due to ignorance so I try to just get information and also read people's experiences as often as possible to mitigate those mistakes.

And I really thank you for engaging my post. I really really do appreciate it. šŸ¤šŸ½

when I was around your age I read a book entitled "Investing for Dummies" and I took the advice of the authors. That simple book really changed my financial future and I am very glad I read it because I likely wouldn't have taken the financial steps that I did at such a young age if not for those words... so yeah, self-help books are an important thing if they are written for the right reasons.
