My cage door looks nice and open and there's so much food in here. I mean they have to have the door open to bring me all the food and stuff! 😃 🙄

Not really. They can leave an opening from where the food is pushed in. Remember those prison movies? Like that!
But I understand what you're saying. For now, they want to keep the masses relatively happy, whatever happy still means.
