My Approach To Stay In Shape.
Staying in shape is something almost every human wants, but we have different approaches to making it happen. There are people who prefer to burn calories by exercising daily - there is another set of people who just keep a strict diet, while some combine both just to get the best results.
As simple as it sounds, staying in shape can be one of the most challenging things to do, especially in this age and time where 24 hours is not enough for a lot of people to go about their daily activities, not to mention sparing time to engage in exercises. On the other hand, resisting those colorful, yummy foods is also impossible for people so we all come up with preferred ways of staying in shape.
Staying in shape requires lots of discipline regardless of your approach, and it's really important because without our health on the good side, achieving a lot of things will be impossible.
Good health is the foundation of anything a human will become in life.
To stay in shape, understanding my body system is the first thing I did to prevent wasting time on procedures that won't yield any result because I have seen instances where someone else's routine doesn't work for another person.
It's no new thing that I am a foodie, and restricting myself to eating some particular food can be challenging despite always eating homemade meals. Forget the name homemade; junk food can be prepared at home and still be called homemade, so eating homemade meals doesn't mean that we can't eat things that will affect our health negatively.
I love to try new recipes, and like I said, they are strictly homemade, but that doesn't guarantee me staying in shape. In the course of trying new recipes, I eat fatty foods, and aside from that, if I don't eat swallow meals in 48 hours, I can go on eating unnecessarily just to quench my craving for swallow meals.
I eat quite a lot, and because of that, I skip meals intentionally to control what's going into my belly. I eat vegetables a lot, especially those that detoxify the body system, and I also drink a lot of water daily. I don't know if those things I mentioned can be considered dieting, but that's how far I can go with food, so it's not my best way of keeping in shape.
Moreover, dieting becomes toxic when I have to starve myself just to stay in shape because I definitely need the nutrients from food to stay in shape.
Speaking of exercise, I am not doing my best, but I find it a lot better because it does more than just physical fitness. Over the years, exercising has helped me mentally, and it's done magic for me.
It doesn't necessarily have to be about going to the gym to lift weight and others; there are simple exercises we can engage in and still stay in shape. In the morning, I do a mixture of jogging and walking for an hour—not everyday though, but trust me when I say it works. I leave my home before 6am and return by 7am, it's as simple as that.
This simple exercise has really helped, and I encourage people to take it up if they can. Combining my simple diet plan and exercising often has really helped me to stay in shape the best way I can.
In conclusion, staying in shape is very important, and we must put in our best. Staying fit is not a destination but a journey, so we just have to continue traveling on that path for as long as we can.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the most important form of exercise. Not only does one get to stretch one's limbs, but one also imbibe the fresh morning air while thinking, planning and preparing for the day ahead. It is my goto whenever I'm struggling to push open a door.
Yeah bro, I believe that's the best form of staying in shape like I mentioned earlier. It's actually not for a lazy person, especially for someone working remotely, 6am is a tough time to hit the road.
It's been beneficial and I love the effect on me.
This food issue is something I really need to take up. I'm lazy when it comes to trying out new dishes, even the ones I know will be beneficial to me. If I just put my mind to it, I'm sure I'll be able to work myself some good meals that will be helpful to me in the long run.
We get caught up in different tasks daily and it's really difficult to spare time for different activities but if it's that important, we must find the time.
I believe our body is the product of what we take in and for that reason, eating what's beneficial is very important. You can definitely improve on it, you just need to be intentional about it.
