Una visita que tengo pendiente, quién sabe y cuando vaya sea volando. Mi amigo Alexis se ofreció a llevarme cuando apruebe el examen de piloto. Ya es mecánico aeronáutico y cuando trabajaba en el aeropuerto de Lujan nos regaló una vista aérea de la basílica.

Seguramente sentiste la influencia de las piedras, los constructores de catedrales góticas esperaban elevar el espíritu humano al transitar las naves de elevados techos. Parecen barcos invertidos luciendo sus cuadernas o costillas y columnas elevadas al ritmo de las octavas, como para hacernos escuchar la música de las esferas celestes.

A visit I've been meaning to do, but who knows, maybe when I go it'll be flying. My friend Alexis offered to take me once I pass the pilot's test. He's already an aircraft mechanic, and when he worked at the Luján airport, he gave us an aerial view of the basilica.
You've surely felt the influence of the stones; the builders of Gothic cathedrals hoped to elevate the human spirit as we traveled through the soaring naves. They look like inverted ships, their ribs, and columns rising to the rhythm of octaves, as if to make us hear the music of the celestial spheres.
