Nice pictures! I especially like the 3 birch leaves (?) against the darker sky and the pine tree branch. So in regard to the wolves; do they ever bother the hikers? I would think in a pack, there might be the possibility of that. In my neck of the woods, we watch for cougars, bobcats and bear. I've had 2 encounters with bears; one with a bobcat and I know either we were following the cougars (yes, plural) or they were following us! It was hard to tell by the footprints in the snow.

Yes those are berch leaves indeed , and about those wolves last summer a child has been attacked in broad daylight , they are still trying to hunt that wolf down.
