A cloudy walk in the forrest

Yesterday we went for a walk and i posted about the mushrooms we came across , today i will post some forrest shots mostly with dark clouds since there was hardly any sunlight to use.

To give you an idea about the area here is the google map link : https://maps.app.goo.gl/e7ttJxEQQpDBC5gp9

1 ) No dogs allowed wild wolves on the area . I only brought my wife so we should be good to go .

2 ) It's a small path leading us through the Heath and wild grasses on sandy grounds . With pine trees on the left and right .
When we drove away from home we needed sunglasses and thought nice weather for a walk , but once we arrived the weather started to turn .

3 ) Darker clouds in the background and still some yellow berch leaves on the young trees .

4 ) Dark clouds are still far enough a way no need to worry yet

5 ) Moving in to the forest area still some leaves left on the trees , they are probably gone by now since last night the temeperture dropped bellow 0 degrees Celcius .

6 ) To bad there wasn't any sunlight to lite up those yellow leaves, no way my flashlight will cover that .

7 ) Close to the ground i can use my flashlight to lite up the first meters of all the leaves on the ground.

8 ) Not all clouds are dark yet , i spot even some light blue in the far back.

9 ) And then i spotted some watter looks like some kind of little swamp area , could be nice to use that reflection on the water in the future for creating some timelapse videos again.

10 ) the hill side didn't showed any dark clouds either are they gone already ?

11 ) nope i was just looking in the wrong direction , the clouds are heading to were the car is parked ...

12 ) see looking in another direction can give you a complete different weather forecast ...

13 )looking in the opposit direction is almost like nothing is wrong .

14 ) better keep moving towards the car before we get wet .

Finally as you might know November 19th was a hardfork day for Hive , some witnesses are still runing on the old version 1.27.*

Nice pictures! I especially like the 3 birch leaves (?) against the darker sky and the pine tree branch. So in regard to the wolves; do they ever bother the hikers? I would think in a pack, there might be the possibility of that. In my neck of the woods, we watch for cougars, bobcats and bear. I've had 2 encounters with bears; one with a bobcat and I know either we were following the cougars (yes, plural) or they were following us! It was hard to tell by the footprints in the snow.

Thanks for sharing the view in your neck of the woods. Take care and enjoy the weekend! !LADY

The atmosphere you captured under the somber light of these clouds is phenomenal. I loved that photo of the leaves!
By the way, you mentioned wolves; aren't they dangerous to you?

yeah that photo was the best one of that day with those three little berch leaves

wolves can be dangerous indeed , last summer in this part of the forest a 6 year old child was attacked.
there is a translation option at the top of the page ;)

I understand that wolves really do flee from humans, but still, as you show in this unfortunate incident with the attacked child, it's best to be careful.
