In fact, it did happen, it just wasn't shown as such. The author made that remark in one of his “crazy revelations” where the first time Yuno played, she won and killed Yuki to do so, seeing that she couldn't resurrect him, she decided to play again. A total freak out about this series, I didn't see any head or tail to it.

De hecho si sucedió, sólo que no se mostró como tal. El autor hizo esa acotación en una de sus "revelaciones locas" donde la primera vez que Yuno jugó, ella ganó y mató a Yuki para hacerlo, al ver que no lo podía resucitar, decidió volver a jugar. Una loquera total esta serie, no le vi ni pies ni cabeza.
