Welcome to the latest DUO update post. We had some issues with divs and they got missed on Saturday, @bitcoinman had some personal issues that got in the way, as we mentioned before the divs are always safe and even if the day is missed they are made up for it on the coming days. However this got us thinking about taking DUO to the next level and trying to make it more automated and decentralized so it can run without us and can be a truly generational investment!

We're going to be testing an HSBI exchange program soon! Anyone who wants to trade in their DUO can do so at a set rate. The HSBI will be sent from the curator account, so your posts will get HSBI upvotes and so will the curator account. This will be a test round to see how receptive people are to it. If people like it and it's successful, we may choose to make it a permanent feature. We'll have more details on this soon. Let us know what you think of the idea in the comments!

Important

DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.

Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

Manual curation

When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.
