We are in a technological era where long distance relationships are not something new but nowadays they are more common than ever and here in Venezuela dealing with distance is practically an extreme sport where we do everything but will it be that love and that virtual connection, can they really be kept alive and fan its flame?

  • I'll share with you a little bit about how these relationships are here in Venezuela.


Mainly we must clarify that to maintain some kind of dating relationship at a distance is not for anyone and much less for lazy people because this is much more than sitting in a chair and wait for time to run I'm talking about planning each of the video calls as if they were a date in the park you can imagine each text message as a good morning but what if you imagine a video call that tells you the same thing through a screen.

  • And if we talk about the connection?


I'm not just talking about wi-fi, I'm talking about that connection or that invisible cable between two people that no lazy wi-fi could break, I know that in many occasions the signal does not play tricks but if you are from Venezuela and you have your partner outside you know very well that patience is a virtue because some of these video calls sometimes sound worse than a scratched CD, we just have to adapt and make fun of the moment.


Sometimes this distance feels as if you were crossing a river after a rain that is to say a swollen river But we know that true love is based on trust and that is where we as good representatives of our land take our best ideas against that distance, when we overcome that barrier of mistrust everything is much clearer is as if we were looking at a landscape after the storm in the great savannah.


And that's where the question of how to keep that spark alive comes in, we always say that love enters through the stomach, well an arepa at a distance doesn't have the same taste but exchanging recipes or preparing them together in this video call would surely be a fun experience and if we want something a little sweeter, some virtual pancakes could be epic.

Now let's talk beyond the sweet moments and shared laughs because there is the topic that not all of us like to address and that is goodbyes.

After a satisfactory reunion, the subsequent farewell is something inevitable because who wants to say goodbye to God to that thing that you long for and it is where I wonder if it will be worth it all is a question for many of the relationships that stand the test of time and this answer comes down to each couple as there are those who manage to create a connection so deep that not even the Orinoco River in floods could drown it although for others the distance ends up being an insurmountable obstacle.

At the end of the day long distance relationships are a fascinating and challenging adventure something like climbing the Bolivar peak something that is not easy at all from the top you will know that it was worth every step and if you are truly committed it will not matter how many miles separate you because love will always find a way to stand firm and you would dare to try it is worth reflecting on what we are actually willing to invest for love.





Amores a distancia, ¿ conexiones eternas o cuentos chinos?

Estamos en una era tecnológica donde las relaciones de larga distancia no son algo nuevo pero actualmente son más comunes que nunca y por acá en Venezuela lidiar con la distancia es prácticamente un deporte extremo donde hacemos de todo pero será que el amor y esa conexión virtual, se pueden mantener vivas realmente y avivar su llama?

  • Le comparto un poco cómo son estas relaciones acá en Venezuela.


Principalmente hay que aclarar que para mantener algún tipo de relación de noviazgo a la distancia no es para cualquier persona y mucho menos para personas flojas ya que esto es mucho más que sentarse en una silla y esperar que el tiempo corra te hablo de planificar cada una de las llamadas de video como si fuesen una cita en el parque te puedes imaginar cada mensaje de texto como un Buenos días pero qué pasa si imaginas una videollamada que te diga lo mismo a través de una pantalla.

  • Y si hablamos de la conexión?


No te hablo solo del wi-fi te hablo de esa conexión o ese cable invisible entre dos personas que ningún wi-fi flojo podría romper sé que en muchas ocasiones la señal no juega malas pasadas pero si eres de Venezuela y tienes tu pareja afuera se sabe muy bien que la paciencia Es una virtud pues algunas de estas videollamadas en ocasiones suenan peor que un CD rayado solo nos toca adaptarnos y burlarnos del momento.

En ocasiones esta distancia se siente como si estuvieses cruzando un río luego de una lluvia es decir un río crecido Pero sabemos que el amor verdadero se basa en la confianza y es allí donde nosotros como buenos representantes de nuestra tierra sacamos nuestras mejores ideas contra esa distancia, cuando superamos esa Barrera de la desconfianza todo se ve mucho más claro es como si estuviésemos mirando un paisaje después de la tormenta en la gran sabana.

Y es ahí donde viene la interrogante de cómo se podría mantener viva esa chispa siempre decimos que ese amor entra por el estómago bien una arepa a distancia no tiene el mismo sabor pero intercambiar recetas o prepararlas juntos en esta videollamada de seguro sería una experiencia divertida Y si queremos algo un poquito más dulce unas panquecas virtuales podrían ser épicas. range 10-20

Ahora hablemos más allá de los momentos dulces y de las risas compartidas ya que está el tema que no a todos nos gusta abordar y son las despedidas.

Luego de un satisfactorio reencuentro La despedida posterior es algo inevitable pues quién quiere decirle a Dios a eso que tanto ancías y es donde pregunto valdrá la pena todo esto es una es una interrogante para muchas de las relaciones que resisten el paso del tiempo y esta respuesta se reduce a cada pareja ya que hay quienes logran crear una conexión tan profunda que ni el río Orinoco en crecidas podría ahogarla aunque para otros la distancia termina siendo un obstáculo insalvable.

Al fin de cuenta las relaciones de larga distancia son una aventura fascinante y desafiante algo así como subir el pico Bolívar algo que no es para nada fácil desde arriba a la vista te hará saber que valió la pena cada paso y si de verdad estás comprometido no importará cuántos kilómetros los separen porque el amor siempre encontrará la manera de mantenerse firme y tú Te atreverías a intentarlo vale la pena reflexionar sobre lo que en realidad estamos dispuesto a invertir por amor.
