• Personally, when I write, I find a path to self-knowledge. It is like an encounter with my purest essence, where words become a mirror that reflects both my own fragilities and my own inner strength.

But not everything is summed up in writing. After writing comes singing, and as someone who is passionate about rap music, I have found in it a transformative power. Coming from this background of street life and urban culture, it has brought many of us together in moments of celebration and also in moments of mourning. In moments when we seek self-knowledge and personal self-evaluation, there are melodies that resonate in our hearts, creating an invisible connection that reminds us that we are not alone. Sometimes, when we raise our voices, we break the chains of silence and release emotions that have been repressed, and I know that many have found comfort in the harmony that exists between poetry and the lyrics of what I sing.

But the most liberating form of expression is speech, as it is the most direct manifestation of our identity. Just as thoughts and feelings are shared, this is how we visualise our individual and collective stories, and this is how we build a kind of social fabric that becomes increasingly strong and understanding. Exchanging ideas is how innovation in progress is found, as this is key to regenerating our entire environment.
