In the world of art and graffiti in general, there are many factors that make this art form very ephemeral at times.




Over time, we have surely heard the phrase "nothing lasts forever" many times, and today, as I made my way to work, we were sent to remodel the dining hall of a public school where the materials we are going to work with have not yet been delivered. That is why we spent the day waiting. I was absent for a whole week because I was sick and had some delicate health conditions from which I am still recovering. recovering from.


Anyway, when talking about the world of graffiti here in Venezuela, we can see how my personal sacrifice to inspire and include other people in this has no end, even though the murals lose some of their color and intensity due to the harsh weather conditions, heavy rains, and intense sun. However, the artistic work and our contribution can still be clearly appreciated. This drawing was the last mural created together with a group of friends after collecting small amounts of paint and a little money to buy spray cans over several months. We managed to complete this mural, which would surely have turned out better if we had gotten together a little earlier and made the proper preparations, since this invitation came about practically at the last minute. I told a friend, "Hey, I have this much paint, I have these colors, and I can provide you with a yellow spray can to do some details." Another friend said he was interested but didn't paint. A friend said she had some white paint, and another friend had some blue paint. With these materials and our enthusiasm, we embarked on this adventure. You can find the video on YouTube. And that's how teamwork brings these good results, because when we do this kind of work alone, it's not the same. It's not the same fun or the same energy. If you follow my work, you may notice that 90% of the graffiti I do is completely alone and sometimes in the company of my dog.


But all this is about to end. All this is about to come to an end. But it's a positive end, a change for the better, because with the help of our team on the platform, we will be able to gradually integrate ourselves, becoming more united in our cultural field and motivating young people who are interested in art, but whose passions and needs have been put on hold by the crisis and economic situation.


That is why I say again that graffiti is sometimes ephemeral, and that is the beauty of graffiti: conveying a message, leaving an idea, a mark, knowing that it will not be eternal. But the positive part is that art always seeks renewal and innovation, so we can return to doing much higher quality work. The team of guest authors is providing an initiative to carry out a graffiti campaign that involves integrating new users to use this wonderful platform, not only to share artistic works but also to have the opportunity for financial freedom with which to fund investments that can help others, ourselves, and an entire community. I know that together we can make a big positive change in our society.

Great video! The energy you guys show is amazing.
I wonder, when you do that kind of thing, is it legal?
Here in Denmark, there are a few designated places to do this kind of art, but many people in the environment still choose to paint all over the place!
I'll see if I can gather some images and do a post about it to show the difference between Denmark and Venezuela (and other places too for that matter)

In my country we don't have many street artist and I don't think it's legal to paint in public places either.

Here there are two kind of graffiti. The good ones and most times the ugly sprayed signs. Some of them are even sprayed over the good graffiti art. Why? I don't understand why they destroy other peoples art.

This is so inspirational. It's great to see you are back doing what you love to do after a week long away due health challenges. I see determination in what you are doing and how you are inspiring others through your graffiti art work.

The story of how you guys came together to create something despite limited resources shows how powerful team work and creativity can be. I am sure this project will bring joy to many in Venezuela.
