Cap.

At some point during my adolescence, I was a huge fan of the animated series The Simpsons. Perhaps some of you remember it, and perhaps some of you are aware of this series and everything that is said about it, as there are programs that specifically discuss the premonitions that have come true in this show.
The Simpsons has been on for many seasons, and if you don't know much about it, I invite you to do some research on how this animated series may have predicted some historical events. However, I'm not here to talk about the animated series, but about the cap and what it means to me.
You see, I am a fan of certain garments and clothing, and when I say fan, I mean that I appreciate this type of work that shows quality and dedication and that we often get at a very high price. However, in different parts of the country, there are companies that make replicas of well-known brands and distribute the product at a slightly more affordable price, but there are also other micro-enterprises dedicated to replicating the work of other well-known brand, which will gradually lead to a decline in the quality and originality of many products.
A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to find a store that sold lots of men's T-shirts in a New York style from the 1990s and 2000s, with numbers, letters, some basketball team logos, some baseball logos, and all at a very cheap or relatively cheap price. The thing is that all these clothes were used, and a small part of this store had a section that appeared to be clothing that had been donated by people.

The thing is, while looking through the different products in that store, I found this cap that you see in the photo, a supposedly original Snapback cap with the logo of the Duff beer brand, which is from the animated series I mentioned at the beginning.
I found the cap very interesting and made of very good material, as it is leather and cotton fabric with a very resistant material. However, I have used this cap on very few occasions, perhaps because of its color or model and design. I feel that it doesn't really suit me, so it has been stored away for a long time.

That got me thinking about how we sometimes have things stored away that are valuable to us but that we don't use. In writing this, I'm simply trying to clarify my own thoughts, because if I don't use this cap very much, it's because I take care of it, and if I take care of it, it's because I like it and want it, but I do like it and want it, so why don't I use it? I attach sentimental value to an object that is simply a decoration in my room, fulfilling a purpose for which it was not designed.
Just like this, surely many of us have some objects that have a value for us that is invisible to others, and so I ask you, what is your object?
