Art and culture give us something precious called honor and respect.

These are heavy words, but words with great meaning, words that resonate within many of us, as it is something we work for and wish to preserve, not only for ourselves but also for others, since this type of feeling of respect, especially mutual respect, is becoming increasingly scarce in this world. However, in the culture of hip hop, this is a fundamental basis.

Greetings to all my friends in the blockchain community who are part of today's guest author. I am going to share with you a piece of work done by a friend directly from Mexico for Venezuela, thanks to the respect I have gradually gained in this world of social media and the work I have been doing in relation to graffiti and urban culture. My friend has given me some lettering that may be used later for a tattoo.

This style of lettering is normally seen in certain places in Mexico and in that Chicano flow of some, normally gangs, and it is very nice for me personally to know that people like these give me recognition as a graffiti writer here in Venezuela and, above all, for being from this small town where, if it weren't for social media, believe me, it would have been impossible to bring this work, this culture, and this infinite passion for painting a little further to the forefront.

• These letters are done on a sheet of paper using markers, or rather, using just one marker, which was enough to show this friend's style and mastery of handgrading.

That unique flow of lettering, which brings a slightly dark style that is different from what I am used to doing, since graffiti tags represent the street a little more, with slightly more curved shapes and a slightly softer, usually rounded cut. Here we see slightly straighter lines with pointed corners and some square shapes, which give it such a characteristic style.

My friend Cristian, who is the author of this drawing and design, did this to show his respect for me and, above all, for us here in the town and throughout the country. I am very happy about this and wanted to share it with you through this post. I know there are many other topics I could focus on and talk about for a long time, sharing other types of information with you, but little by little we have been getting there, gaining readers and views. I hope I don't bore you with these art things, and at the same time, I hope that other artists can be inspired.
