Buildbox Classic - Distance, Points and Coins
Buildbox classic does have the gamification to keep the users engaged. Like say you want the users to stay engaged in the game. So what type of the gamification you use? Some people make use of the points. Some people make use of the coins. And some make use of the distance. This is what is part of the Buildbox Classic.
Let's talk about the distance, points and the coins. These are the things that we make use of inside the classic games. Like say you have hyper casual and some of the other options that would be a good gamification for you to try.
Let's say you are making the game which is just bouncing the ball and avoiding the distance obstacles. So what could be some of the options that you would be adding to the game? You would be adding the game obstacles that would help you get the value as you play the game. Like say 10 m distance you would get that counted for the ball.
Same way we can say that you have obstacles that you avoid and also the each obstacle avoided would reward you with the point. So one long level where you have endless level. And you have travelled some distance with the obstacles. And then you are making use of the points which would get activated for the game. So that is another way for you to handle the points there.
Coins is third thing I wanted to explore there. Like each coin is a going to be some sort of the reward. Like you do something you earn coin. So avoiding the obstacles you earn a coin. And at the end of the level or the world, you are going to see the coins for the game there. Something like this is what I feel that it can also be good for the coins there in the scoreboard you have to design that.
Finally I feel that gamification is important because otherwise people would be hating the lack of the same. Some of the really good things that are out there with the gamifications can be done with the Buildbox Classic. Just experiment with these items and see what works for you.
