Given the lack of details, I cannot say with any certainty, but it sounds like you might be playing the "race card." If you can prove that their actions are racially motivated, then you should be entitled to remedy.

I guess I've heard "it's because I'm black" when it's because they're an asshole too many times and it's jaded me.
