In the Philippines, you can legally be arrested even if no crime was completed—an attempt to commit even just an offense is enough under the Rules of Court. As a Filipino, hearing this really saddened me. The Philippines is really suffering of corrupt government officials and justice is not served right for the people.
But what can we do, we just live according to what is set in the system. I hope this country will soon heal from everything.
