From a Lowkey-hidden Writer to a Hive Blogger (Introduction Post)
I was looking for a platform where I could freely express myself and every bit of me, without being judge, and I stumbled upon Hive. In this platform, I know I can embrace my love for writing and expressing my thoughts. Without further a do, let me give you a glimpse of who I am.
Hello! My name is Nor-An Rose Aren. Just call me Aren. I am a third-year college student right now, at the same time working as a part-time ESL teacher. I love nature, travelling, hiking, listening to music, reading, and of course writing. I love writing poems, random stories, and just a daily journal. I was still in primary school when my love for writing started. I wrote poems, stories, and simple reflections, almost everyday but my written works are lowkey hidden in my treasured Notes app and mini notebooks. But now, I can freely do my hobby here in Hive, and I can finally share every bit of me, my journey, and my reflections in life.
HARD COLLEGE JOURNEY
I started embarking on my college journey way back year 2023. As a person and a student who is not supported by her own family, life was not easy. My notes app is full of my up and down moments. It holds as witness of what have been happening in my life, but from now on, my writings will not just stay hidden, Hive platform will also be a witness to my journey in life.
I thought life was just harsh and miserable but I realized that there is more to life and we could only see its beauty if we are positive and happy. With letters and words, I will continue to share to everyone how I appreciate life.

I stumbled upon a post of @antonette about this community where we can freely write. As a lowkey writer, I grabbed the opportunity and asked for her help on how to navigate this platform.
Writing about my life is something I do to share my thoughts but nobody could ever read it because I do not post anywhere, but now, this platform will serve as my first audience, and everything I write in here will also serve as my memories in the future. I am so grateful that I came across with Hive because I know I am able to embrace myself fully in doing what I really love, which is writing.

But what can we do, we just live according to what is set in the system. I hope this country will soon heal from everything.
