Hello hello my coffee people!
I confess that, as a coffee lover, I have noticed subtle differences in taste according to the cup or mug I have used. It is as if each material has a little story to tell, a whisper that blends with the aromas and flavor of our coffee.

For example, sometimes in plastic cups that can dull the intensity of the flavors and also in a plastic cup it cools very quickly, there is almost no time to enjoy it. While in cardboard glasses, although it is more natural, if you take a long time to drink it, the glass starts to become a little watery and it is really very unpleasant.

Definitely, the choice of the glass is a detail that is not insiginificant but a good choice can make a difference in our experience. In the end, enjoying a good cup of ceramic or glass coffee is a ritual that involves all our senses.

Great points! In addition to affecting the flavor, it really is a bummer to have a coffee that cools down before you even have the time to enjoy the aroma!

I also dislike how easily the cups fall apart; I like to fidget with my cup as I enjoy my coffee haha

I take looooong to finish my coffee, so a plastic cup is not for me. I remember when I was little, my family used to go to a country house by the river; they used plastic cups and "totumas" to serve the afternoon coffee. While totumas are just the nicest material for a coffee cup, the heat left super quickly...

I agree with you, the best option is a glass or ceramic cup, disposable cups change the flavor and are uncomfortable.

You made a beautiful, very poetic introduction. I really liked how you write about the aromas and the taste of the coffee. I think that without a doubt ceramic and glass win by far in this versus plastic and ceramic.

I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕

@daimar07 I dislike drinking coffee from a metal flask, and I am not keen on coffee from paper cups either, but somehow, I notice the taste is altered more in a metal cup than in paper.

Wouldn't it be nice if more people started taking their reusable cups or even their regular ceramic cups to coffee shops?

Most of the time when I go out I carry my coffee in my thermos and one of my cups, if I am going to travel by road in my car it is for sure that I do....🙌

I think taking a cup in addition to the thermos is super important, preferably if it's a non-metal cup. You just need to be careful not to break it:)))
Yeah, there were some good posts, heh-13.jpg

You made me remember when I used to make long trips in my car, I always carried a thermos as a companion 😊 Now I want to buy a special mug to keep the coffee warm, I imagine these also keep the coffee tasting good

Completely agree with you @daimar07, I drink it in plastic cup only if I order it to go, but if I want to taste it sitting in a nice place I order it in glass cup, I like it much more and I delight consuming it alone or with a sweet or salty snack. 😋☕️

I agree. The choice of glass makes the coffee enjoyable. It will make the conversation with your friends more enjoyable while enjoying to sip the moderate hot coffee's.

That should be the moment when we enjoy every sip of coffee, a true ritual that allows us to enjoy the taste and aroma of coffee ☕.
