DPINR is the Digital Indian Rupee used on one of COTI's private payment networks.

This is actually an interesting development happening with the digital Delta Platinum Indian Rupee now we know Dafabet is also onboard alongside Delta Platinum Casinos. I expect many more partnerships and this is just the beginning due to India's 28% Online Gambling tax rates.

Over the last few weeks many in the COTI community have been complaining about the number of DPINR token holders and they are missing the main point of how this works. This not about the number of holders but more about the number of transactions.

Only 120 holders out of 290 transactions is what people are judging this by and why they are seeing it in the wrong way. As we all know if we go to the casino and buy the gaming chips we do not hold onto them and take them home when the night is over. The majority of people will cash out the gaming chips unless they lost them all.

The total transfer count is what is important and not the number of holders due to the service fees for buying into the DPINR and cashing it out later on.

With Dafabet now on board or possibly they have been part of this the entire time the numbers should start to increase quickly. The softly softly approach to the launch has held back the numbers, but with this latest announcement on the Dafabet platform the message is now being delivered.

Up till now there was very little noise around the DPINR token unless you visited the Delta Platinum site and now this is showing on two sites which is good news.

We do not live in India so we do not know how big of a thing this really is, but anyone having to fork out 28% when they buy in to gamble is a big handicap so this is a work around avoiding those taxes. Receiving a 5% bonus plus saving 28% via taxes is literally an extra 33% of funds you wouldn't have had and why this will be far bigger than most think.

This is all about marketing now and getting the message across to the clientele guiding them on how this all works. I expect over the coming months these numbers will do a 100x because the 290 transactions has been done in the test phase only. This has to be seen as the next phase being phase 2 and the roll out.

Gambling in India is a huge business with most of it being illegal due to Goa being the only legal gambling state. This is why online is so big and now the people of India have a work around regarding the taxes.
