Hi Ph! Absolutely! Craft beers are the best. Here in Caracas, we discovered them during the crisis from 2017 to 2023. The main brewery, with its monopoly over all phases of the production process, drove up the price, and several craft beers emerged as alternatives. That's when we realized how, for over 80 years, this company had kept us literally in Plato's cave. The only thing we knew in our sad lives was that brand of beer from a Venezuelan oligarch for decades! If there was anything good about that crisis, it's that it helped us escape that cave of ignorance we were in. Cheers.

The only thing we knew in our sad lives was that brand of beer from a Venezuelan oligarch for decades!

Maybe for the same reason, I didn't find any beer that I would like when I was younger... 😃 There was no choice, except for 2-3 "big brands"!
