I was also fascinated by the night sky as a child and as a teenager when I lived in the country, in a place without pollution, when I could see the stars and the Milky Way better. I remember those times with nostalgia.
Now I can see satellites even in the city sky, with fewer (visible) stars... I don't know how it could be in a photo, but a movie would probably be more spectacular. However, I don't know if it is possible.

Glad that you saw the milky way as a child, and a city sky is too bright with lighting too see much in the sky. We are researching the satellites and fortunately there is a program here called Stars and Planets. They will soon have a visitor from the USA that will present a series on the satellites, and we will attend the shows. Maybe I will get a better idea on how to get them on camera.
