One or two drinks

The weekend went by really fast and I'm already looking forward to the next one. I don't intend to go out or at least go drinking next weekend but on this past weekend, I did drink quite a lot.

I went out to my friends lodge that had a pool and table tennis table in the lobby. We had a bunch of drinks, so I drank all of them. Really, like all of them.

It was mostly vodka that I was drinking at home and then some fanta to mix. I didn't finish the 1 litre bottle or anything like that but I got close.

On a happier note, I played table tennis and I realized that I'm actually better than people with zero skill. I reckon playing badminton ensures that I have natural affinity to sports that involves using a bat and hitting a moving target.

My pool skills seem to have improved as well. I was able to hold my ground against one of our friend that's semi-pro. I also beat the other one easily but a lot of it was down to luck.

You know how sometimes you just whack the white ball and it flies around the table doing bits like it has its own mind. Yeah, that happened more times than I can count.

Anyway, for the rest of the weekend, I played video game and watched a few episodes of This Is Us with my wife. I've already been through the first three seasons but she's starting it fresh and I'm enjoying the refresher.

Minor change

After the drinskcapade in the weekend, I decided to dramatically cut down on alcohol consumption as a whole. So, I won't be drinking at home anymore and will only take one or two drinks when I'm outside because, first of all, that's all I can afford and secondly, I don't like the feeling I get beyond two drinks.

I got back home feeling like shit. On Sunday morning, I experienced heart burn and I'm guessing because of the oily food I ate when I got home on Saturday night, I vomited my breakfast I had on Sunday morning.

Anyway, the point is, no more drinking at home. Whenever I feel the urge to drink, I will do push ups and maybe go for a run instead. I'll simply replace the drinking with a healthier habit. Now I know this will not be easy but I reckon with some dedication, I'll find myself looking and feeling much better.

It’s a good thing to reduce the drinking! I’ve been having a bit of a habit lately of drinking and I’m also trying to get rid of it. I don’t get drunk but drinking consistently is just not a good health decision.
