So much beauty in these beautiful birds. I didn't know them but through this publication I do. The pair looks lovely and I am sure the female was telling him in her language that it was more convenient to be able to form the nest, although the male should have let his mate drink water first, in an act of chivalry. But that's nature's way.
It doesn't matter that there was no cheese to give them, the water was perfect for them and besides they are beautiful photographs where the look, that look of hers says it all. Thank you very much for sharing them with all of us. Hugs!

Oh yes, they are lovely birds. I am glad to have introduced them to you, and the female told the male to only pick soft stuff for the nest, as she will have to sit on it when she lays the eggs :)
They were thirsty, as it was a very hot day here, and thankfully they didn't jump on our table for food, as they normally do.
