That's fair enough though... it's probably a bit abstract at the moment and doesn't quite feel real... I guess it could be related to society, but I'm sure in eons past people were also a little hesitant to get excited about things until they were actually happening too. I'm sure it saves you some heartache if you get super, super pumped about something and then it doesn't end up happening or isn't quite what you expected.

Yeah, for sure man! I appreciate the perspective, it is indeed likely evolutionarily a normal thing. I think some of the online stuff has clouded it perhaps, where we are seeing people showing off things left and right and when we have something we would like to show off, we hesitate because it could go awry.

Indeed on the pumped part. I was excited to do something recently, where I would see an old friend only to have it cancelled and was pretty bummed lol.
