Are we able to hold the line and keep Liberty for the citizens of the country? Time will tell!
Great question! Unfortunately a lot of people in the US have been convinced by billionaire owned media companies to vote against their own interests and cede more and more power to the government and undo the checks and balances of power. The government should fear the people, not the other way around.
I hope this doesn't upset you, and I don't mean any offence at all but I do think citizens of other countries would have risen up way before now.

Oh dude you don't have any objection from me! It's really insane how far the people have been pushed, but the cracks don't shatter. It's for sure the Roman bread and circuses, without a doubt! We are a very strong people, but at the same time we are weak when it comes to internal things. If someone attacks the homeland like what happened on 9/11 (loooooots of stuff between those words that I won't get into) then we will fuck shit up, but internally? That's pretty much no sadly.
Oh phew! Hahaha, it's always hard to convey over text a polite criticism without being able to gauge someone's reaction in real time.
I think part of the problem in the US is that feeling that "it couldn't happen here", and so its hard to figure out if people are over-reacting or under-reacting to any specific situation or policy proposal.
You see the farmers in India or the French or in Latin America big reactions to policy proposals, but lately in the US there has been so much change in such a short amount of time people don't even know which thing to react to or organize against... and I think maybe that's intentional.
