Good Food All The Way
When you are looking for a foodie, I am number one! I love very good food and one of my hobbies is cooking and eating. I cook my food myself all the time.
We all need good food for a healthy body, life and wellbeing. The importance of good food to our health can not be overemphasized. When you eat healthy and balanced meals, it shows in every area of your body including your skin and hair.
I'm a fan of home made food and I think that is one of the reasons why I like cooking. While growing up, my mum made sure we all learnt how to cook at a young age in secondary school. Both boys and girls. We had a meal time table then, and we all knew it off hand. So, Who ever is cooking just goes to the store and pick what she wants to prepare and heads straight to the kitchen to do the cooking.
I never saw my mum buying food or asking us to go buy food. It was never done while growing up and it never became a part of me as I grew older. And besides, food bought is usually not enough for me so, why waste money. While on my own in the university also, I made sure to prepare my food and eat before leaving my apartment. I am not a fan of fast food but I eat out on very rare occasions, like situations where I have classes til evening or when a friend is taking me out. And some of the food are really nice.
As a mother, I wake up as early as 4:30am every morning just to make breakfast and lunch for my family, we all eat breakfast while I pack our lunch and after the days work, I get back home to also make sure dinner is ready at appropriate time, so that we can eat and I can go to bed on time and get ready for the next day. I don't even have the opportunity to eat out.
If ever I am on a very very tight work schedule, and I can easily afford take out, I would go for it because stress is not a friend of the body. I will consider the fact that I have just one life to live and I don't want to kill myself with stress. So, I would eat out. But apart from that, I don't see reason to eat out majorly because it is more expensive and also some of the fast food are prepared with too much seasoning.
The reason why I rely more on home cooked meals is because it's healthier for my family and it's not as expensive as take out. There was a time my sister had to order some food for me because of some unavailable circumstances that happened one day. When I saw the receipt, I screamed. It was way too expensive than preparing it at home.

Actually some busy schedules will leave us with no option than to eat out but home made meals are surely the best.
