Haha, a blog post in between oranges. They call it Mandarine [ˌmandaˈʁiːnə] in Germany, and you can easily peal them off without tools. It's said that actually Oranges are cultured from Mandarin oranges. Since I wasn't there, I have no idea if that's true. !invest_vote

That's astounding to me. I've never heard of that. Yet when I do a https://presearch.com/images?q=+green+Mandarins there are lots of pictures of ripe looking fruit, while at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandarin_orange#Varieties the one and only photo caption showing a green fruit sais "Unripe fruit". And even at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citrus_taxonomy#Core_species_and_hybrids I don't find anything particular referencing to green fruits, except Lime and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micrantha_(citrus) So I wonder what you have there from a foreign perspective, if mandarin is something else. !invest_vote
