That drizzle with the leftover batter is such a smart move for extra crunchy bits. The coconut milk twist sounds like it adds a light sweetness and a nicer bite inside, though in my house they wouldn’t survive long enough to test the crunch later. What dip do your kids prefer, sweet chili or something tangy?

This frying method gives an excellent texture and flavor. The dipping sauce is sweet, salty, a little sour, and a little spicy. Here, we often eat it with fried sausages; they go very well together... Thanks for visiting. 😍❤️

That sweet-salty-sour-spicy mix sounds perfect, no wonder it clicks with the crunch. Do you make the sauce at home? If so, could you share a quick ratio for fish sauce, sugar, chili, and the sour part, and do you use lime or tamarind? I’m stealing that leftover-batter drizzle trick too.
