Delicious and Crispy Potato Patties with tomato sauce.

Hello Everyone! How are you? I hope all of you are being well by the grace of Almighty and having a great time with your family. My days are also going very well. Although I don't have much pressure from studies now. In other words, I am spending my free time very well through my new work. I am always willing to share with you what I am learning. So today I will share with you a new recipe that I have learned and that is Crispy Potato Patties.




Potato Patties


Potato patties are available in many stores. When I was a child, my father used to buy them for us sometimes. Which I liked a lot. So today I thought I would try making it at home. Although I made it for the first time, I liked its taste a lot.

Due to the use of flour in potato patties, its outer layer is very crunchy to eat. I have used potato filling inside which remains almost soft even after frying. Its taste is slightly spicy and salty. Potato patties can be easily made by anyone as a light snack in the afternoon and eaten with tea or coffee. Potato patties can also be eaten with tomato sauce or any chutney.




Required Ingredients



12-13 potatoes
Two onions (chopped)
Three green chilies ( chopped)
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoon Red chili powder
1½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
1½ teaspoon Jeera powder
1½ teaspoon Garham masala powder
1½ teaspoon Black pepper powder
Two cups flour
Soybean oil

I am trying to explain in detail each step of making potato patties.This way you can easily understand it and make it at home in no time.




Preparation Method



First, take two cups of flour in a bowl and mix it well with salt and soybean oil.



Then mix the flour with water and knead it well. In this way, the dough should be made into a dough. I brushed a little soybean oil on top so that it does not dry out when exposed to air.



Then boil the potatoes and peel them. Mash the potatoes well. Make sure that there are no large grains in the potatoes.



Then add turmeric powder, salt, chopped green chilies, onion, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and black pepper powder to the mashed potatoes and mix well. In this way, the potato filling should be prepared.



After 10 to 15 minutes, form small balls from the pre-made dough and form a large loaf from it.



Now place a small bowl in the middle of the bread and place the potato fillings around it.After adding the potato filling, remove the bowl from the middle of the bread.



Then, with the help of a knife, cut the bread along the fish fillet into about 13-14 pieces.



Then wrap it well with bread from one side. The end of the bread should be well sealed so that the potato filling inside does not come out.



This is how you make the remaining potato patties.



Once all the potato patties are made, they should now be fried well in soybean oil. When the potato patties turn light brown in color, they should be removed from the oven.




Results and Serving Suggestions



Now the potato patties are ready to serve on your table. You can enjoy it hot with your family. Making potato patties is very easy and I have tried to show each step very beautifully. I like its texture a lot. It is very crispy on the outside and relatively less hollow on the inside and filled with potato filling.
