It's important to note before some people maybe hurry to buy vials for the APR, that the collection reward split will be adjusted once vials can be opened.
Right now a small portion of collection rewards goes to achievements while most go to alpha vials, once opening of vials is enabled it'll take a large chunk of the collection rewards as well.
I'm just leaving this comment here so people don't think, other than if we decide to lower/increase the daily zing to collection rewards, that the APR's are going to remain for long.
It does however give early buyers of vials, whatever you deem to be early, extra allocation of zing and in the end you may still be able to either sell the vial back on the market to someone else or open it and sell items within the vial. But of course whether those are going to hold any value or not compared to the initial cost is anyone's guess.

but you did well to emphasize it in your comment as well because it is an important information to consider whether to buy Alpha Vials and in this way it is even more visible (another reason why I upvote this comment of yours 100% to make it even more visible ;)

We may adjust the slider gradually when opening becomes available, i.e. not fully lowering zing rewards for closed vials in favor of opened items+creatures. Just mentioning it here as I think I've said we'd move fully towards it in the past (where you got that info from probably) that we've kind of changed on that idea a bit since.
