I was being moaned at that my Witness votes were about to expire and that I needed to do a Governance Transaction if I still wanted to be considered one of the good guys. I'm gonna hold my hand up and say I thought;

For a giggle, I asked ChatGPT to analyse the witness list and tell me if there was anyone else I should be voting for. Its response was pretty pleasing as far as my original humanoid choices go, but I did laugh out loud when it said two of my favourite people on Hive were boring. 🤣 🤣 🤣

That is interesting and I could agree with most of what it said. I don't tend to use these tools, but they obviously know what they are talking about in some cases. I saw someone use one to compare Hive and Steem. It made the right calls of which was worth using.
Witness votes do matter when it comes to Hive being stable. We have plenty of candidates. I support some of the big ones plus others working on projects I like. I have been tempted to run one myself. I wouldn't expect to make much, but I'd like to be part of the support network. Would need to get some appropriate hardware first. Apparently it is possible on a recent Pi, but a small PC may be better and not much more expensive.

Groan. Yet another insane thread of "I'm a victim!"
Hive is just like any other school playground. There are a few nice kids here and there, and there are the school bullies. There are popular kids who are just likeable for no real fathomable reason, and there are some unfairly treated ones simply because other kids can't be arsed to take the time to find out what they're really like.
There are, in fact, "Rules," although I'm not sure I agree with how they're applied. Having said that, things might have changed in that area? My activity on Hive has been in a kind of hiatus for the last couple of years simply because I personally wasn't getting any joy or fun out of it to the degree some others do.
I have seen some 'wealthy' accounts nuke other accounts in a bullying fashion. I always remember a conversation with a witness who proudly claimed they went after anyone who said even the slightest positive thing about STEAM, so much for Freedom of speech! I think one of the biggest problems when it comes to this subject is that two or three people seem to think they own the Hive platform or certainly have the right to determine what is allowed and what can or cannot be said.
