A Wednesday Walk in the Park

Many Wednesdays for me are office days getting the work done and the only real walking I do is in the Dog Park. I did get 90 minutes of Jiu Jitsu training but that is not very photowalky.

No matter what the day looks like, I try and spare an hour to walk outdoors mainly because this guy has the time of his life every time. That and he would drive us crazy at home if he didn't burn off this energy.

The park is actually nice and it is a good habit to get out for an hour a day for some steps and fresh air. I must have 100 pictures from this exact spot over the last few years.
Sometimes it is not so sunny. Often it is night time in the winter and lush green in the summer.
I have quite a few of Birdhouse Tree as well. Back a couple years, there was a birdhouse nailed about 20 feet up that has since fallen.
Funny the contrast when the sky is clear and blue. Even better when there is a full load of leaves on the branch in the warm summer time.
Right about now, there is snow blown right into the bark as winter rages on. I aim to combine all of these pics into a 4-season animated gif when I can make the time to do it.

It's All About the Dog

Now that I think of it, you are probably more interested in seeing the doggo. I can't help but snap pics of him to enjoy for myself, share with the family and hopefully create some smiles on the Hive dog lovers.

One last shot of another season so you don't go completely snowblind. I should combine them all into a goofy video a good lively soundtrack. Soon we will be in the dog days of summer and my Wendesday Walks will be in shorts while swatting mosquitos.
Thanks for sharing a little walk in the dog park in the middle of winter.

Your dog certainly seem to enjoy the outdoor! Looks happy, running in the snow at🙂
Oh that is definitely the case. He whines all the way up the parking lot and runs happily everywhere with that goofy grin on his face.
He looks so happy🙂
Dogs are the main reason for people to go out and have a walk, they take off lazyness... That bird tree is pretty nice, very big, must have hundreds years
True. Knowing that a walk in the woods for an hour every day is good for you may not be motivation enough. Knowing that you are contributing to ultimate happiness for the little guy at the same time sure is.
The dog like the walk regardles of the weather it seems.
That is the definite truth of it. Whether it is 30 Celsius or -30, he doesn't seem to care or even notice. He doesn't like the snowballs that get frozen between his toes too much but chews them out and does it again.
😂
