I was walking to my car and I happened to look down. Something in the ground caught my eye!

My curiosity was piqued! So I went closer to it until I was directly above it.

I was pleasantly surprised! I instinctively sighed an "awwww..." because it tugged at my heartstrings.

Do you see it?

It was small...tiny! An unexpected gem! A delightful piece of nature!

Flowers!

Two, really small, flowers. Teeny-tiny purple flowers. What a delight. What a blessing!

It made me think of the millions and millions of flowers that bloom and then wither and die without being seen and noticed.

Two beautiful flowers popping up, and such pretty purple ones at that! I love flowers too, it's one of the things I loved about the tropics were the bushes and trees that flowered all year long! I'm glad you found something so subtle and beautiful on your walk!

It brought me joy and made my day, @thebighigg! I love your stories about the tropics! I visit Hawaii very often, and reminisce about the years we were there... my growing up years to primary grade. But my Dad is from the SF North Bay, about an hour's drive form my current. I have a property there, handed down for generations, to my Dad, then to me.
(You see now... you made me remember!)

Such tiny things! We have a flower that looks just like that, that blooms in the forest. It appears in both pink and white and often is some of the first to bloom in the spring and even into winter, I've seen them hanging on.

There is so much in this world that we do not see. Imagine-God sees it all! If only we could.
