What are your “desert island” items — the 3 things you couldn’t live without?

Extra Food Supply, tent, and some books.

No internet that's tough for a net junkee like me.
I think a digital book reader, downloaded movies/tv series on ipad and laptop and satellite phone

alternatively if allowed, I would rather pack 3 friends :-)

What could I possibly take with me to a deserted island when food and drinks are not a problem?

Well, I couldn't leave my puppy, so I'll bring him (although he is not an item, lol), another would be a shaver, and the third would be a nail clipper😅

My sunglasses, a huge umbrella, and a book. :)

Books, pen and paper. When should I have my bags packed? 😆

binoculars, a hiking rope and a compass. So I know how to get back to the place where they feed me 🙂

I think I'd take a book, a board game, and an empty bottle.

I started researching "survival shovels" https://www.pewpewtactical.com/best-survival-shovels-trench-tools/ but then I noticed we are only there for a week! 🤣

I guess "amazing... drink" means an endless supply of cold beer, gin and tonic, spritzers and the rest, so I'm going to bring

• a marquee (a large tent set up for an outdoor party)
• a four poster bed
• a wooden chess set

Camera, Lamp/light source, Mattress/something comfortable to sleep on!

Is there accommodation? Let's assume we follow strictly to just unlimited food and drink, then heck, I'm brining along a camper van, more than sufficient fuel, and a shotgun. You never know when a zombie invasion is going to break out! 🤣

It really depends. Is it a matter of surviving for a week (plenty of food and cloths seem to say it isn't, unless there are predators on the island), or a test to live for a week outside the tech bubble. In the first case, we need survival tools, so something like a Swiss knife, a weapon (but I wouldn't know how to use it) or an axe, a recipient to keep drinking liquid in. If it's just a test to live outside the tech bubble for a week, and the island has the necessary comfort except tech, I would bring pen, paper, and a... ball, I think.

If I had to choose three objects, I would take a good book to entertain myself, a flashlight to explore at night and a utility knife, which is always practical in this type of adventure.

I know it's unrealistic but I don't want to be bored. !LOL

I would bring a nice tent, a bunch of batteries, and some handheld console.

Since I can't think of anything, I sought help, and this was the answer from someone smarter than me.
A floating grand piano: To play epic melodies while floating over the sea, attracting curious mermaids.
An infinite taco vending machine: Programmed to offer tacos of every imaginable flavor, I'd never get bored!
A drone with a holographic projector: To project movies onto the clouds and simulate intergalactic parties under the stars.

A notebook, a pencil and a soccer ball :D

When it's only one week, that changes the pespective a bit. Since I assume "toiletries" will include toilet paper, I would want my camera (batteries should hold out for a week), my paper journal and a pen.

Food and drink, and good books, to travel through the world of reading when boredom strikes.
