Hi it's a good question! There are a lot things happened for the past year but I'm proud that finnaly I could take my kids to visit some of my relatives, fortunately could take my family just for couple days to the sea, changed my place of work. Maybe this points can seem smal but for me they are matters and bright lights in my life!

Proud? My generation doesn’t get to be proud! We are masters of nothing and need to shut up and work harder! ;)

As bad as that sounds, it has resulted in part in a work ethic that has helped me create a business that helps pay the bills for my family and a couple friends. All while trying to take the high road and do the right thing for the community.

Proud but not content as there is plenty of work still yet to do!

In a way, I believe that you can be proud to have persevered and have reached the place you are now. Even if 'proud' is maybe not the good word, it's still an achievement and deserves that you can look at it positively.

I am proud to have made progress in taking care of my health by practising yoga and taking care of my diet. Without obsessing, with small steps, I am almost at my healthy weight.

That's great to hear. I think that it's a great success when we manage to change our habits!

Habits are stubborn! The trick is to associate and chain them, substituting the bad ones for the good ones.

I don't know how to answer this. But let's take a simple one...

I am proud I haven't powered down any HP yet from beginning, even during these days when I am struggled financially just to support daily life

You didn't take the easy road and you went on with the long term project. This definitely deserves to be considered as an achievement.

Many actually. One of them would be visiting Europe for 2 weeks in May - it was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid and I am happy that I got a chance this year.

Even if you had to postpone it, you got there in the end :-)

I can't say I'm particularly proud of anything because generally I'm usually pretty satisfied with my life. 🤣

That said, perhaps one of those things I was rather proud of (but more like pleased with actually) was my aim to whip myself back into shape to complete a full 42km marathon. I succeeded, for several years in fact, until covid. I guess that's something I'll have to motivate myself to work on again.

to complete a full 42km marathon.

Congratulations on that! It's quite extraordinary to manage to run for such a distance.

Hello everyone. What a great question we have been asked today, one of those that make you really reflect. My answer to what I am proud to have done this year, big or small, is something that perhaps sounds a little illogical I tell you, I am very proud to have learned to be silent. Yes, just as you read it.

Let me explain. I am one of those people who, when someone told me about their problems, the inner solver in me would immediately jump out. I felt the need to give advice, to offer the perfect answer that I thought they needed to apply. But this year, something clicked. I realized that, many, many times, people are not looking for a judgment, or advice, or even a solution from us. Sometimes all they need is for you to listen to them, really, quietly and without interruption.

And believe me, it's not easy for someone like me, but I assure you it has been a liberating discovery. I have come to realize that silence, accompanied by active listening, is an incredibly powerful way to help. It is offering a safe space for the other person to unburden themselves, to process their ideas, and often, to find their own answers.

So yes, this year my great achievement has been to be quieter and a better listener. Greetings.👋

Good question!

This year, in particular, I am proud of the fact that I have "stuck to my plan," even though there have been many obstacles, and many occasions on which I have just wanted to give up and pack it in.

Am I proud of that?

Perhaps not so much as I am appreciative to have that in my personality.

I think the first lesson in life that I want to transmit to my kids is not to give up and it is definitely something that you can be proud of.

I started using AI to begin to code small (and growing) projects. That's good for two reasons: keeps me close to this new domain of AIs, and I also put my programming background to some use.

It's great that you are using these tools. I have the feeling that AI allows us to do things that before would have been out of our scope.

It certainly lowered the threshold of "access". And they can be great boosters of performance for experts.

I think it was spending more time with my family and being more patient with my children. In 2024 I had a few conversations with my wife, she told me many times that I was very stressed and had no patience with them, which was driving us apart.

Changing habits isn't easy, but I've managed to improve a lot and I can improve even more, so I'm proud of that, of being a little closer to my children and my wife.

It can be a vicious cycle when we stress about income or work to feed our family but at the same time this very fact drives us away from them. It's an important step that you took I believe.

That's a great question. While there are many things I am grateful for and appreciate, one I'm proud of is that I'm finally giving it (something I've wanted for a long time) another chance without fear of whatever the outcome may be.

That sounds intriguing. Giving it another try without being afraid of what lies at the end of the path.

Not sure about this one, becuase I must say that I have not achieve something great in my life, although I am fairy happy with it, for what I have at the moment.

hhmm maybe to reach my HP goal is what makes me happy so far here in life and on Hive, despite the current price drops that makes me sad a little bit.

I think that what you write here is something to be proud about because the fact to be happy with what you have and what you are is actually a great thing that not everybody has :-)

Hmmm such a good question!

I've somehow done sooo may things this year that I can't even remember half of what I've done (damn old age...lol..🤣...😭.)

But one thing I do remember is how proud I felt to have finally published my first book(s)!

Not the ones that I have worked on for years, not the ones that I have more recently (years) started working on, but a completely new book series for children that was an idea that just sprung up in my mind and I became so enamoured by it, fell so much in love with it and the images and words and structure that I was creating, that in the end I couldn't stop- until 1 minute to midnight, New Years Eve 2024, then I was straight back into it at 1 minute past midnight, 2025. No joke. So lucky I have seen fireworks before.....🤣

I have created 5 childrens book series all about animals, nature and the environment using my photos and videos and have already started on the first volumes for all of them, but have been seriously interrupted by this "traveling" thing that I've been doing lately....🤣

I am now in day 8 of 12 days driving up to far north QLD and can't wait till I get there so I can stop driving for one, then unpack, settle in, relax and finish writing these next books so I can publish them.

You should see the massive plan on the miro board that I have created to keep track of everything too!

image.png

Actually I think I was proud of creating this complex framework to begin with...🤣

(I just need to get the perspective right on Miro board too...lol...)

But then when I do get to FNQ, I have Soooooo many (thousands of) photos and stories to post on Hive too!

So much to do, not enough time to do them all- YET!!!

Ohhh and you just wait to see what I have planned to (possibly) present at Hivefest too!

It's HUGE!!!! 😱

I am proud of myself for getting my groove back, so after I had my Son, the several changes that happened to my body made me begin to feel a certain type of way about myself. I started to smile less, and I was gradually going into depression unconsciously. This year, however, I intentionally began to heal and grow myself into loving myself the more.

To be able to turn things 'around' is a great achievement. Most people would just lament in self-pity. You took a conscious step and are trying to make things better. That's definitely something to be proud about!

This year, I feel like I'm behind on a lot of things, especially in the real world. We're already halfway through the year, and it feels like I haven't done anything so far. At Hive, I've been posting every day, but even so, I feel like I'm only doing the bare minimum.

Spending more time working on my writing, not always easy to stay motivated but I have a couple projects that should be finished this year!
