Most of us consider ourselves as hivians, some would even add that hive is their online place to be. However, there are other platforms out there that allow you to publish content and we would like to see what platforms you are using:

I think it's a nice post to see other platforms 😁 but for me, i use readcash and noisecash before hive to publish my content but still using readcash

I had to do it as well for professional reasons... There are some nice things about it but it's also a loss of time when you scroll through the feed lol
I used to post on 500px.com even brought a couple of photographers over for a short period of time, but after 7 days on hive your content is useless people don't even look at it anymore , while on 500px people look at your complete art work.
deleted my FB account tried to delete my X account since i can't acces it any more since humpty dumpty took over .
So at the moment it's just hive for me.

I don't use other platforms, but have idea maybe once start to publish some info on telegram, medium or linkedin, but it's not surely ;)

We always talk about Hive promotion in other platforms but ended up with a bunch of shy geeks not posting much outside Hive hahaha I used IG a lot before Hive, now i post everything here, but wanted to promote my post on web2, maybe this is the call to action hahaha
Hi Nina, you are right, we should share our stuff a bit outside of the hive ecosystem to attract some outside people :-)
Mainly Hive for me, although I started an FB page for my fur baby, it is for his pictures😅

I'm not personally. I know some people also post to Blurt but have run into whales downvoting them for doing it. When I heard that I decided it wasn't worth it and I really don't know any other platforms to post on honestly!
I haven't been on Blurt for a long time. I'm surprised it still exists...
Apparently still around, I've never used it. I checked it out once and the rewards weren't worth the effort. It would be nice if there were another truly good option given all the drama we see here on Hive from time to time...

I used to republish every Hive post to publishX -> https://www.publish0x.com/?a=xYRdGvybDz (referral link :) ) but totally forgot about it.
Other than that, I very rarely post links to Hive articles on X or Discord.

I also have a publish0x account and I tend to publish stuff that are crypto related from time to time. What I like is that all the hive guys tip me there lolol

Do you have a lot of return on your x sharings? Does it bring you some views on hive?
I don’t think X brings me any extra views however posting on X is a requirement of the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge that I participate which provides the higher value votes. There are other requirements as well. I only participate once or twice a month when I have topics that I think are worthy.

Blurt is a brother chain of hive. It also came out of Steem some years ago. I don't know exactly how it is doing...
For now mostly Hive, I tried a bit publish0x for a bit , but hive engagement still motivates more lol
I often repost what I do on hive on publish0x to reach a broader audience.
On web2, I usually post some things on Facebook, Instagram, and X, and outside of that, I sometimes publish something on publis0x.

I'm all Hive. I check in occasionally on Blurt to check up on old friends who have moved over there when they were no longer supported on Hive because they are long time friends and I miss them here.
It seems like a place for people fleeing downvote trails... It's a pitty to lose them to blurt in a way.

Usually I shared the posts on hive using a thread about it to get people attention.
That's a good way to promote your posts I believe.
Yeah it helps me and also the hive ecossystem, because at the end I usually add a CTA to read the full post at #hive blockchain :)
On a few other platforms, like X and Bluesky, I'm sharing my Hive posts. I don't use different platforms for writing.
